Our Story

Founded in 2024 in Vancouver by high school students passionate about music, Speak with Arts is a non-profit organization.

We use Arts to promote care and build emotional and social connections across ages and communities.

Our Programs

“Music is not just art—it is a bridge that brings warmth and strength between people.”

    • Music Foundations: rhythm, melody, sound exploration

    • Music & Movement: motor coordination, imitation, sequencing

    •  Social Music Games: turn-taking, cooperation, emotion expression

    • Music Appreciation: mood recognition and emotional awareness

    • Performance & Recording: confidence-building, used for fundraising

    • Summer Arts Camp: music + dance + visual arts integration

    •  Interactive Performances: familiar songs, sing-along

    • Music Therapy Research Sharing: updated neuroscience insights

    • Music Recommendation & Memory Recall

    • Relaxation Sessions: breathing, humming, guided relaxation

    • Seasonal Celebrations: Christmas, spring concerts, community events

    •  Promote cultural understanding through shared artistic performances.

    • Provide inclusive platforms for diverse arts to be heard and appreciated.

    • Use music and visual arts as universal languages that bridge cultural barriers.

    • Encourage community participation through collaborative performances and exhibitions.

  • Open to students in Grades 8–12;

    • Passionate about helping others and giving back to the community;

    • Patient and empathetic;

    • Willing to interact with neurodiverse groups;

  • Responsible and committed to attending rehearsals and events regularly;

  • Areas of Contribution:

    • Music performance, singing, composition, conducting, and recording;

    • Visual design, website maintenance, volunteer coordination, and day-to-day operations；

What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.
