Hi, Iām Edward li.
Inspired by his interests in psychology and neuroscience, Edward co-founded Speak With Arts with a simple vision, and that is to use music not only as a form of artistic expression, but also as a bridge which connects people, generations, and communities. He believes that meaningful community service begins with listening and understanding what people need before deciding how to help them.
My Approach
Edward leads the development of Echoes of Memory, a research-informed music series for older adults that combines live performance, accessible psychology, and resident reflection to explore how music supports memory, emotion, and human connection. He also helps design inclusive music programs for children with special needs, integrating music, movement, storytelling, and creative arts to create engaging, multi-sensory learning experiences that encourage participation, confidence, and self-expression.
Future of SWA
Looking ahead, Edward envisions Speak With Arts as a sustainable youth-led organization where young musicians grow not only as performers, but also as compassionate leaders. By bringing together music, education, research, and community engagement, he hopes the organization will continue creating opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to connect, reflect, and feel a sense of belonging.
